About Borla S-Type Exhaust

Borla’s S-Type Axle-Back Exhaust systems are designed to give your Mustang an aggressive muscle-car tone without drone thanks to the straight-through flow design mufflers. In addition to great sound, the S-Type Exhaust system will bolt up to your factory catalytic converters to keep your Mustang 50-State emissions compliant!

Along with the S-Type Mufflers, this system includes Borla’s X-Pipe to increase the sound, tone, and performance from your Mustang’s 5.0. You’ll find yourself with a raspier, racecar like sound that is amplified by the Borla S-Type Mufflers.

Construction

Borla S-Type Cat-Back exhaust systems are manufactured from T-304 Stainless Steel with 3.0″ mandrel bent tubing and features (2) extension pipes to reach factory manifolds, (2) step-down adaptors for use with Long Tubes, the Borla X-Pipe, (2) intermediate pipes, (2) S-Type Mufflers, and (2) eye-catching 4 in. angle-cut rolled Stainless Steel polished tips. The S-Type Mufflers feature an embossed Borla logos which look great when in view – whether your car is on a lift, or someone just happens to look up your Mustang’s backside.

Use with Long Tube Headers

This system is designed to be a direct bolt on to your stock Mustang GT, but can also be used with cars with Long Tube headers through the use of the included step-down adaptors. This enables you to either start with the stock manifolds and upgrade to long tubes later, or bolt it right up to the long tubes you have.
