About Borla ATAK Exhaust

Borla’s ATAK (Acoustically Tuned Applied Kinetics) technology is designed to provide a high-performance system for the driver that prioritizes exhaust sound over their stereo. ATAK exhaust systems offer Borla’s highest available decibel levels in their street legal line of exhaust products.

ATAK mufflers feature specifically tuned attributes in their internal multi-core design which are calibrated on a vehicle-by-vehicle basis to ensure your Mustang has the most desirable sound possible. This results in a Super Aggressive sound with the performance to match.

Along with the ATAK Mufflers, this system includes Borla’s X-Pipe to increase the sound, tone, and performance from your Mustang’s 5.0. You’ll find yourself with a raspier, racecar like sound that is amplified by the incredible Borla ATAK Mufflers.

Construction

Borla ATAK Cat-Back exhaust systems are manufactured from T-304 Stainless Steel with 3.0″ mandrel bent tubing and features (2) extension pipes to reach factory manifolds, (2) step-down adaptors for use with Long Tubes, the Borla X-Pipe, (2) intermediate pipes, (2) ATAK Mufflers, and (2) eye-catching 4 in. angle-cut rolled Stainless Steel polished tips. The ATAK Mufflers feature an embossed Borla ATAK logos which look great when in view – whether your car is on a lift, or someone just happens to look up your Mustang’s backside.

Use with Long Tube Headers

This system is designed to be a direct bolt on to your stock Mustang GT, but can also be used with cars with Long Tube headers through the use of the included step-down adaptors. This enables you to either start with the stock manifolds and upgrade to long tubes later, or bolt it right up to the long tubes you have.
