About Velgen VMB9 Wheels

Velgen VMB9 wheels feature a modern concave design with 9 tapered spokes and an inset lip giving them an aggressive, yet premium appearance perfect for a modern muscle car. The VMB9 is available in six sizes from 19″x9″ to 22″x10.5″ as well as four incredible finishes ensuring you’ll find the perfect staggered or square VMB9 setup for your car. When it comes to Mustangs, we love a staggered set of 20×9 front wheels and 20×10.5 rear wheels.

Velgen wheels are manufactured from 356.2 Aluminum Ingots which are melted down to form the wheels using low pressure casting. Low Pressure Casting is a method which utilizes positive pressure to quickly force molten aluminum into the wheel molds resulting in a stronger yet lighter weight wheel compared to traditional gravity cast wheels. Once cast, Velgen wheels are x-rayed for impurities, heat treated, CNC machined, powder coated, and tested several times along the way for balance, leaks, durability, and more to ensure you get a perfect wheel for your Mustang.

Finishes

Velgen wheels are available in four stunning finishes, including: Matte Silver, Matte Gunmetal, Satin Bronze, and Satin Black. These finishes are applied through a powder coating process ensuring the wheels can withstand the abuse of daily life on the road. The wheels above feature Velgen’s Matte Gunmetal finish; perfect for those wanting a darker look without going to a black wheel.

Will it Fit?

Velgen VMB9 Wheels will fit all 2005 to present Mustangs. The 20″x9″ VMB9 (front wheel) is meant to compliment the 20″x10.5″ VMB9 (rear wheel) to create the perfect staggered set up for your Mustang.

This wheel will fit the following Mustangs:

• V6/GT: 05, 06, 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17
• Bullitt: 08, 09
• Boss: 12, 13
• GT500: 07, 08, 09, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14

Note: These wheels will clear Mustangs equipped with 14″ and 15″ Brembo brake packages available on GTs, Boss 302s, and GT500s

Additional Required Hardware:

Due to the design of the VMB9, you will need smaller tuner style or spline lug nuts to mount your new wheels. Traditional factory style lug nuts will not fit this wheel. You will also need to utilize the included metal hubcentric rings for installation.

These wheels are TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) compatible. All 2007+ Ford Mustangs feature valve stem TPMS. Without these sensors your Mustangs tire pressure warning light will illuminate on the dash.
