If you’re looking to up the horsepower and torque of your manual transmission equipped 1996-2004 Mustang GT, look no further than Kooks – the industry leader in aftermarket long tube headers. Kooks utilizes aircraft grade T034 Stainless Steel for their products ensuring an unmatched quality and finish. Every Kooks exhaust system is designed specifically for the vehicle or engine it was built for.

Design

Kooks takes advantage of industry leading technology to design every exhaust system they produce. This particular system utilizes 1-5/8″ tuned exhaust primaries which merge into 2-1/2″ collectors featuring a specially designed scavenger spike. This ensures the header will have a smooth flow with the greatest amount of airflow possible.

All joints are TIG welded with every port ground smooth to eliminate exhaust constriction. The 3/8″ thick laser cut flanges along with the ball valve flanges work to prevent any exhaust leaks and a better than factory fitment on your GT with no cutting or modification required. This system is designed for manual transmission applications only.

Finish

The Kooks 1-5/8″x2-1/2″ Long Tube Headers have a natural stainless steel finish. These headers do not have a heat resistive coating. Check out our available exhaust wraps to maximize the performance of these incredible headers.

Will it Fit?

These 1-5/8″x2-1/2″ Long Tube Headers are designed to fit all 4.6L 2v Modular 1996-2004 Mustang GTs with manual transmissions. This system MUST be used with Kooks X-Pipe/H-Pipe or Connection pipes.
